Clay Refining Masque Details

This unique formula concentrates its’ therapy for skin by drawing from the earth’s great elements in compound: water, kaolin, and bentonite, Caspian sea salts, along with the elements zinc and manganese. The medicinal properties of clay are at their best in this MASQUE, having been developed to be more dense and, therefore, slower-drying than other “commercial” (department store variety) masques. This allows the skin to absorb more of the nutritive qualities of the CLAY REFINING MASQUE while enabling a stronger lifting action to occur during the drying time on the skin’s surface: this is a highly cleansing process. Treated skin is soothed and much more “refined” as a result of the mild exfoliation – which is the process of removing dead cells and other debris from the skin’s surface. Additionally, the trace amount of menthol delivers a cooling effect on the skin, which is especially beneficial for broken capillaries, and will calm even the most sensitive skin. Chemically balanced for all skin types. CLAY REFINING MASQUE provides relief for more oily-prone skin, broken-out skin, roseacea sufferers, and for mild sun or wind burn. Regular use (at least once per week) will “train” the skin to adopt its’ more refined texture. After cleansing and rinsing the face and throat, apply 1 teaspoon of the CLAY REFINING MASQUE to the entire face and throat, avoiding the eyelid area. Allow to completely dry – about 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse gently with warm (tepid) water and a washcloth. Apply SKIN REFRESHMENT SPRAY, followed by your favorite BONNIE HOLMES moisturizer. Note: the stimulating/cooling feeling produced by this MASQUE is intentional.
